5 Games to Watch
1. Duke @ Virginia, Saturday, 6, ESPN: Huge ACC rematch as first place is on the line. This time Duke has Tre Jones and Ty Jerome is battling back issues. In Durham, Duke was able to push the game into the 70’s. Will home court help Virginia keep the game closer to their pace?
2. Villanova @ Marquette, Saturday, 2:30, FOX: The clear two best teams in the Big East meet for the first time in Milwaukee. After a midweek loss to St. John’s, Marquette is two games back in the loss column and needs to protect home court to have a shot at the Big East title.
3. Wisconsin @ Michigan, Saturday, Noon, FOX: Michigan gets a chance to avenge their first loss of the season when they host the Badgers. Charles Matthews has struggled offensively of late and the Wolverines are struggling to score because of it.
4. Louisville @ Florida State, Saturday, 4, ESPN2: Louisville is playing great in ACC play, even with the home loss against Carolina last Saturday, and the Noles have returned to form after a 1-4 start in the league. This is a big road test for Louisville as they look to remain one game back in the ACC race.
5. Cincinnati @ Houston, Sunday, 4, ESPN: The two best teams in the American meet as Cincinnati tries to prove just how good they are. Really, it’s the second weekend of February and no one really knows how good the Bearcats are. This game could go a long ways towards telling us.
