ALCOHOL SERIES: SYRACUSE

Welcome to the NCAA Alcohol Series! One day, when I replace Mark Emmert as NCAA commissioner, I will mandate that every school only be allowed to sell one type of drink at games. These are the drinks for each Power 5 school. Reasoning for the choices are related to the school’s athletic program, the culture of the school, or really anything that I felt was fitting. Really like something? Really hate something? Hit us @theusofncaa on Twitter. Looking for your school? Every school’s article will be posted on the website and can also be found in the thread pinned to the top of our Twitter @theusofncaa . Enjoy and drink up!

What's the first thing you think of when you think Syracuse athletics? There are two acceptable answers, the Carrier Dome and the 2-3 Zone. The Carrier Dome is 39 years old and its sponsored by an air conditioning company, yet it does not have air conditioning. Jim Boeheim has coached Syracuse for 42 years and still runs that 2-3 Zone as his base defense. That makes almost as much sense as an arena sponsored by an air conditioning company not having air conditioning. So, Syracuse is going to drink Keep Calm and 2-3 Zone. Since those in Syracuse can't get enough of the 2-3 zone, we're going to have it at every sporting event. The beer is an Orange Cream Pale Ale from Talking Cursive Brewing. Jim Boeheim could take some advice from this beer cause on the sidelines he's anything but calm.

Also Eric Dungy died for this. Shoutout to him.
