ALCOHOL SERIES: Mississippi State

Welcome to the NCAA Alcohol Series! One day, when I replace Mark Emmert as NCAA commissioner, I will mandate that every school only be allowed to sell one type of drink at games. These are the drinks for each Power 5 school. Reasoning for the choices are related to the school’s athletic program, the culture of the school, or really anything that I felt was fitting. Really like something? Really hate something? Hit us @theusofncaa on Twitter. Looking for your school? Every school’s article will be posted on the website and can also be found in the thread pinned to the top of our Twitter @theusofncaa . Enjoy and drink up!

At Mississippi State the most important thing is being as opposite of Ole Miss as possible. They also aren't the fan base that's going to spend the most money on drinks. Sure, the Bulldogs have had a good run recently. They've had a consistent top 25 football team, the basketball team was a 5 seed this year (but lost to Liberty in the first round), back to back College World Series trips, and some women's basketball Final Fours, but you haven't made it up there with the big boys yet sorry. So to go along with all the head pounding clanga y'all will drink Kentucky Gentleman. That's a cheap bourbon that I'm sure they aren't drinking at Ole Miss. I have never had this bourbon but I think it is safe to assume that it is garbage, and that's ok, Mississippi State, because you are used to that. You aren't used to the highfalutin fancy cocktails, no you're a blue collar school who drinks like men. Shout out to Stingray. Clanga
